FreeMarket limited edition arrives in NYC
August 23rd, 2010
FreeMarket has landed in NYC and Luke and I spent the morning unloading the truck and moving the shipment indoors (because of course, it rained all morning!). Then a hop back to Queens with a portion of the shipment for signing and numbering of the pre-orders. We also have the shirts, mission patches and some freebie buttons that we’ll include with those orders when they ship out.
Thanks for your patience, freemers! The wait is ALMOST over.
And in other news, that maniac Screen_Monkey is at it again with episode 4.0 of the Excramax saga. Click here for leaky airlocks, rubber hoses, baptisms and positronic brains!

August 11th, 2010The task of art is to transform what is continuously happening to us, to transform all these things into symbols, into music, into something which can last in man’s memory. That is our duty. If we don’t fulfill it, we feel unhappy. A writer or any artist has the sometimes joyful duty to transform all that into symbols. These symbols could be colors, forms or sounds. For a poet, the symbols are sounds and also words, fables, stories, poetry. The work of a poet never ends. It has nothing to do with working hours. Your are continuously receiving things from the external world. These must be transformed, and eventually will be transformed. This revelation can appear anytime. A poet never rests. He’s always working, even when he dreams. Besides, the life of a writer, is a lonely one. You think you are alone, and as the years go by, if the stars are on your side, you may discover that you are at the center of a vast circle of invisible friends whom you will never get to know but who love you. And that is an immense reward.

August 10th, 2010Excramax: Taking recycling to the max!
August 10th, 2010The Aggregate assigns quarters to a new MRCZ. Excramax is made up of 5 members, who have decided that what Freemarket really needs is extensive forestation, cultivated from the bio-waste produced by the inhabitants. Following their interface directions, they arrive at a small disused airlock tube, with one end welded shut. It’s very cold and there is a slight breeze as there seems to be a minor leak. The airlock is 10 meters long, and 1.5 meters tall, and tubular.
